4x4 Deathstar Kungfu Platform

"4x4 DEATH STAR kung fu platform, Jay's Hippoworld, a trickster called Fifi La Roo, and geography is elsewhere". A visual and textual cinematic installation which triggers different animation parts on visitors movements. An event on lego traveling, poly-perspectives, cross-sections, multilayered occurrences and compressions in physical and electronic space. The installation and concept was originally written and produced for an assigned thematical project and exhibition for the public space in Amersfoort called "Manifest 2000" "The city in digital perspective". Commissioner and main producer: the foundation for contemporary art "de Zonnehof" in Amersfoort. The script's or scenario's writing and the installation is basically an experimental translation or visualization of research done on digitized conversations or text based interactions which take place every day in text based virtual realities such as Multi User Dimension environments. The project made the suggestion that this form of communicational public space will manifest itself as an important aspect within "the city in digital perspective" and will probably be responsable for new relations and challenges of what has been known up until now as public space.
